This is the style I've been looking for in an engagement ring....doesn't it look like mom's graduation ring?

I need help!

I've had my eye on an abandoned church across the street from Smith's grocery store as a spot for engagement pics, so Jared and I went there on Sunday. He set me up for pictures, and then we traded so I could have a turn at being the photographer. Jared admits he likes being the model more than the photographer because it's less stressful, and it's mindless.

Weekend in Wendover

I have no new pictures to post; nothing! So here are a couple from the trip we took to visit Billy in Wendover. We stayed at a Casino Hotel, went to a concert, and gambled in between. Actually I wasn't allowed to even play the penny games :(

Mint Chocolate Cookies

Cake Mix Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 box chocolate cake mix
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup oil

Baking Instructions

1. Add 1/2 cup oil and two eggs to one box of cake mix. Add chips, nuts, and flavorings if desired.
2. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

MINT FROSTING
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar 2 tbsp. milk 1 tbsp. shortening 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. pure mint or peppermint extract 2 to 3 drops green food coloring (optional) Combine all ingredients in the order listed in small mixing bowl. Beat until spreading consistency. Additional sugar may be needed if frosting is too thin.
